Helpful and friendly staff.
Unfortunately, my room had a persistent cigarette smell. Even after getting switched to another room, I couldn't escape the hint of humidity lingering there. The bathroom was shockingly tiny, and I actually hit my head on the doorknob! Adding to the unpleasantness, there was an annoying sewage smell, made things worse.

The hotel had indeed a great location close to Shijo subway station. And it was also just off Fushimi.

Modern accommodation with absolutely perfect setting just next door to markets, food outlets and restaurants. Rich breakfast options with Japanese options. Such wonderful stay, as always...

Central location near subway line, proximity to Nishiki Markets, available basement bar.
One key for a triple room is quite inconvenient!!! Management should definitely improve soundproofing to avoid noise disturbances from above!!!

Lovely hotel with favourable location easy to access by public transport. Good bed, nice bathroom and satellite TV, climate control, and a refrigerator in the room. Location next to Kyoto Station, Nishiki Markets, Gion & buses that service the wider Kyoto areas as well as Nara and Kyoto.
Normal staff!

In my wife's opinion, the room felt a bit cramped for our family needs. It would be great if there were some play areas or activities for kids.

The room is cosy and to my surprise, it's bigger than I expected. The single bed is actually good for 2 persons. There's Starbucks on the ground floor which is connected to the hotel. Very convenient. From the entrance, you couldn't tell it's a hotel.

location of the hotel was quite central. within a minute walk to the subway station. the single room was small though functional and clean. with starbuck (with wifi) at the lobby was a bonus.
it would be great if the temperature of the room can be controlled.

Cozy spot for fams
Spent 2 nights in a twin room and it was super comfy! The metro was a hop away and made getting to Osaka easy. Staff were dope, especially Ochi-san who helped us a ton. Breakfast was just alright, nothing crazy, and the bathroom was tiny, but we managed. Perfect base for exploring.
